GuestLens | Event Photo and Video Sharing SaaS Platform

GuestLens: event photo and video sharing with a QR code

GuestLens is a self-hosted PHP script for collecting guest photos and videos at events. A host creates an event and gets a QR code. Guests scan it and upload photos and videos from their phone browser. There is no app to install and no account to make. The host gets a live gallery, a big-screen slideshow, a guestbook with voice notes, a photo book PDF, a video of the photos, an offline album, and one ZIP file with everything. The host can also give their own customer, such as the couple, a private link to the event.

You install GuestLens on your own server and run it as your own service. You are the super admin. Your customers are the hosts: couples, event planners, photographers, and venues. You set the plans and prices, take payments with Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer, and put your own brand on every page and email. Version 4.0 added customer access, Google Drive storage, site sponsors by plan, and deletes an event’s files from storage when the event is deleted. Version 4.1 fixes bugs that buyers reported, and warns you when your server’s PHP is missing a security fix. Version 4.2 lets a booking send the customer link, with an optional password, and adds more fixes and small changes that buyers asked for.
