Tile Match: Panda Story HTML5 Puzzle Game
Tap the pile, fill the basket, clear the board. 500 levels in a sunny forest.
Tile Match: Panda Story is a complete tile matching puzzle built with the PlayCanvas engine. Tiles are stacked in a forest clearing and only the ones on top can be taken. Tap a tile and it flies into the basket at the bottom of the screen. Three of the same kind clear themselves. The basket holds seven pieces, so a player who takes the wrong tiles runs out of room and loses the board.
Five hundred boards ship with the game, from a six tile board that teaches the rule to a hundred and eight tiles stacked fourteen layers deep. Ice covers tiles and cracks a stage every time a set clears elsewhere. Leaf curtains open and close as pieces are collected. Three boosters are there for a board that has gone wrong: lift one buried piece out, take a whole set off the board, or tumble the pile and start reading it again.
A round panda carries the game between levels. It raises a bamboo shoot before a board, tips over laughing when the board clears, and sits under a fallen basket when it does not.
Game Features:
- 500 Levels, shipped as board data, from 6 tiles up to 108 tiles across 14 layers

- Seven Slot Basket, the scoring rule and the fail condition in one place
- Two Obstacles, ice in three cracking stages and leaf curtains that open and close as you play
- Three Boosters, Reach, Sweep and Tumble, each priced separately and each refusing when it would change nothing
- Tutorial, five steps on level 1 with a pointing hand, plus an idle hint on every board after that
- Combo Praise, five painted words that escalate as sets land back to back
- Three Character Screens, level start, level complete with three stars and a 3D banner, and level fail
- Particle Effects, ten Unity format particle prefabs played by an in house player, driving matches, rewards and celebrations
- Sound and Music, 17 clips wired to game events through one cue table, with a settings panel to turn either off
- Portrait and Landscape, the board relayouts for wide windows and the backdrop is drawn separately for each orientation
- No Build Step, 81 ES modules loaded natively by the engine, no bundler and nothing to install
