SubTrackr — Never Get Charged By Surprise Again

SubTrackr is a production-ready iOS subscription tracker built entirely in native SwiftUI for iOS 17+. The average household spends hundreds of dollars each month on subscriptions and often forgets about several of them. SubTrackr solves that problem with real-time Firestore sync, smart renewal and trial reminders, beautiful Swift Charts analytics, and a pre-wired StoreKit 2 paywall so your monetization is already built.

This is a complete, App Store-ready source code template — not a UI kit and not a skeleton project. Every feature described below is fully implemented, tested, and documented.

Demo Mode — Run It Right Now

SubTrackr includes a built-in Demo Mode. Open the project, press Build, and a fully working app launches instantly with six pre-loaded subscriptions. No Firebase account, configuration, or setup is required. A yellow banner inside the app indicates when Demo Mode is active. Replace the placeholder GoogleService-Info.plist with your own Firebase configuration file to start using real user data.

• Real-Time Dashboard — Hero spending card with monthly and yearly totals, upcoming renewals within seven days, active free-trial alerts, and category spending previews. Data updates automatically through Firestore.
• Smart Add/Edit Form — Searchable catalog of 30+ popular services including Netflix, Spotify, iCloud+, Adobe Creative Cloud, ChatGPT Plus, Notion, and more. Each service includes suggested pricing, SF Symbol icons, and brand colors. Custom services can also be added.
• Subscriptions List — Live search, category filtering, status filtering (Active/Paused), and multiple sorting options including billing date, name, amount, and date added. Swipe actions allow deletion or pause/resume functionality. User preferences persist across launches.
• Swift Charts Analytics — Interactive spending breakdown by category, six-month spending trends, top subscription rankings, and automatically generated insights based on user data.
• Free Trial Tracking — Mark subscriptions as free trials, specify trial end dates, and receive reminders before they convert into paid subscriptions.
• Renewal Reminders — Local notifications scheduled before renewals. No server infrastructure required. Optional server-side push notifications can be enabled through Firebase Cloud Functions.
• Multi-Currency Support — Supports more than 100 currencies with normalized monthly spending calculations and consistent currency formatting throughout the app.
• Full Settings Screen — Currency selection, appearance controls, notification settings, CSV export, account management, and version information.
• CSV Export — Export all subscription data through the native iOS Share Sheet. Premium feature protected by the paywall.
