LumiBaby is a production-ready, AI-powered multi-application platform built to simplify baby growth tracking, co-parenting coordination, and system administration. The platform comprises a centralized Node.js REST API with real-time WebSockets and two high-performance React Native (Expo) mobile apps built with TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, expo-secure-store, NativeWind (Tailwind CSS), and smooth Reanimated aesthetics.

In accordance with Envato’s item quality and disclosure requirements, please be advised that this application leverages Artificial Intelligence to power specific core features. An active API key from Groq Cloud and/or Google is required to utilize these AI functionalities.

• AI Service Providers & Models: Groq Cloud (llama-3.3-70b-versatile) and Google Gemini (gemini-2.5-flash).
• AI Cry & Routine Decoder: Evaluates recorded baby cry audio snippets and activity routines to estimate probable soothing tips (Hunger, Fatigue, Gas, Colic).
• Pediatric AI Companion Chat: Interactive conversational assistant for parents, providing advice based on historical care logs.
• Growth & Schedule Insights: Parses WHO growth percentiles to generate customized feeding and sleep schedule recommendations.

Security Note: All AI requests route securely through the Node.js backend. API keys are strictly managed via the backend .env file or hot-swapped dynamically via the SuperAdmin App. They are never exposed to client devices.

Important Note – External Services and Configuration

This platform relies on external third-party services. For full functionality, you must configure your own API keys in the system database:

• Payment Gateways (Stripe SDK): Handles secure monthly subscriptions, lifetime access checkouts, and signature-verified webhook processing.
• Image & Media Hosting (Cloudinary SDK): Handles fast image uploads for baby avatars, milestones gallery, and support desk attachments.
• Push Notifications (Expo Server SDK): Delivers cross-platform push notifications and alerts directly to user devices.
• Database: Requires a MongoDB instance (local or MongoDB Atlas).
• Storage: Local client authentication keys are cryptographically encrypted using expo-secure-store.
